Display technology terms describe parts of a design, not a complete picture-quality guarantee. A QLED label alone does not settle brightness, contrast, local dimming, viewing angles or motion handling. HDR support also needs checking by exact format and implementation. Read the manufacturer's specifications for the selected model and, where possible, assess familiar material instead of judging only a vivid promotional loop.
Look at faces, dark scenes, subtitles and movement. A very saturated shop mode can attract attention while being less comfortable for normal viewing. Check the available picture settings and whether the screen looks balanced at home-like brightness. If colour accuracy matters for another use, establish what the display can actually support. Choose the picture you want to watch repeatedly rather than the one that looks most dramatic for thirty seconds.
